LES Russia held in Moscow a jubilee conference “Intellectual Property and Business: Results of the Past Year, Practice, Trends” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Russian Licensing Society (LES Russia).
The conference was devoted to the issues of legal protection, commercialisation of intellectual property objects, peculiarities of intellectual property use in IT sphere, review of the latest changes in the legislation and practice of IP legal protection, as well as the prospects of development of the system of legal protection of intellectual activity within the framework of the Eurasian Patent Convention.
Representatives of Rospatent, the Eurasian Patent Office, major Russian companies and industrial associations took part in the anniversary conference.
The conference was aimed at representatives of business circles, industrial companies, small and medium-sized businesses, financial institutions, lawyers, licensing and technology transfer specialists.
Evgeny Alexandrov, President of LES Russia, Ph.D., Partner, Head of Legal Practice, Trademark and Design Practice (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow) presented certificates of honour for many years of fruitful work and significant contribution to the development of the Russian Licensing Society:
All of them at different times headed the Russian Licensing Society.
Within the framework of the conference there was a presentation of the book ‘Fundamentals of Formation of Modern Common Information and Expertise Space in the Field of Industrial Property in the Eurasian Region’, the authors of which are Grigory Ivliev, President of the EAPO, Scientific Director of the FIPS, Andrey Zhuravlev, Head of the Centre for International Cooperation of the FIPS, Dmitry Rogozhin, Deputy Head of the Department of Expertise, EAPO, Tatiana Erivantseva, Advisor of the Organizational and Legal Department, EAPO.
