The Licensing Executives Society Russia (LES Russia) co-organised a session featuring representatives of the space industry, entitled “LESI 2021 Plenary: The Business Side of the Space Race.
The Licensing Executives Society Russia (LES Russia) co-organised a session featuring representatives of the space industry, entitled “LESI 2021 Plenary: The Business Side of the Space Race.” The session formed part of the Annual Conference of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), which was held virtually that year.
The speakers were Masashi Sato, Executive Director of the SPACETIDE Foundation (Japan), and Sergey A. Zhukov, Co-Chair of the AeroNet Working Group and Test Cosmonaut.
The speakers discussed the transition of the space race from government control to private-sector leadership and, consequently, the importance of intellectual property in attracting investment to support innovation in this field. They also highlighted the need for cross-border cooperation and knowledge sharing among professionals worldwide.
