The Licensing Executives Society Russia (LES Russia) held a seminar entitled “Licensing as an Effective Business Development Tool” at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Dr. Heinz Goddar, former President of LES Germany and LES International and a member of the LES Germany Board, gave a presentation on employee-invention legislation and successful start-ups in Germany.
Yuri Nechepurenko, Head of the Research and Innovation Department at the Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University, presented a commercialization strategy for industrial property assets, drawing on the experience of successful research institutions and universities in Belarus.
Valery Narezhny, Ph.D. in Economics, Counsel, and Sergey Medvedev, Ph.D. in Law, Senior Lawyer and member of LES Russia, both of Gorodissky & Partners, addressed intellectual property licensing in the establishment of joint ventures in Russia.
Sergey Vasiliev, Ph.D. in Law, Senior Lawyer and member of LES Russia, and Stanislav Rumyantsev, Ph.D. in Law, Senior Lawyer at Gorodissky & Partners, gave a presentation on licensing in online business and the specific aspects of personal data protection in Russia.
Jennet Abduraimova, Head of Legal Practice at AIS Intels, delivered a presentation entitled “Licensing and Technology Transfer Using Blockchain.”
The seminar was attended by approximately 40 participants and concluded with a lively discussion.
