On 8–12 April 2006, N.N. Karpova, Professor and President of the Russian Licensing Society, V.N. Medvedev, Vice President of the Society, and S.A. Dorofeev, International Delegate of the Society, took part in the Annual Conference of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), held in Seoul.
Before the Conference, a meeting of International Delegates was held, attended by N.N. Karpova and S.A. Dorofeev, where internal matters relating to the activities of the Licensing Executives Society International were discussed, including its development programme, reports of the governing bodies of the Licensing Executives Society International, reports of national Societies, and other matters. S.A. Dorofeev also took part in the work of the industry committees.
At the Conference itself, presentations were made on the development of licensing trade, technology transfer, and the acquisition and protection of rights to various intellectual property objects.
More than 700 delegates from different countries took part in the Conference.
