On 23 November 2005, the International Seminar “Corporate Strategies for Intellectual Property Management and Technology Licensing”, organised by the Russian Licensing Society (LES Russia) in cooperation with the German Licensing Society (LES Germany), was held in Moscow.
Leading experts and specialists in the management and commercialisation of corporate intellectual assets spoke at the seminar.

The following speakers were invited to the seminar: Dr Ilkka Rahnasto, Vice President, Intellectual Property (Nokia, Finland); Dr Nobuyoshi Tanaka, Managing Director, Intellectual Property (Canon, Japan); Dr Ingo Brückner, Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property (DaimlerChrysler, Germany); and Dr Michael Gorin, President (Algodyne, Russia).
The speakers noted the growing role of intellectual property (IP) in modern business and described their companies’ strategies for the management and commercial use of IP.
All presentations generated considerable interest and detailed discussion. The seminar was attended by 42 specialists from Russia, the United States, Ukraine and Belarus.
