The article addresses current issues relating to the registration of certain types of intellectual property licences in Russia involving registered IP rights, such as inventions, trademarks and industrial designs. It also examines the rules and principles governing the exhaustion of IP rights; the potential termination of granted rights, including sublicensing rights; requirements concerning royalty amounts and payment terms under licence agreements; national currency-control regulations; and other related matters.
