S.A. Dorofeev, President of the Russian Licensing Society (LES Russia), took part in the Annual Conference of the Licensing Executives Society USA & Canada (LES USA & Canada), held on 5–8 October 2014 in San Francisco.
The 50th Anniversary Conference, whose main theme was improving transactions for business development and innovation today and in the future, brought together in Silicon Valley more than 700 prominent representatives of the intellectual property, licensing and business development communities from 18 countries.
The dynamic six-part programme addressed current issues in the high-tech industry; healthcare; consumer products; valuation/legal issues; industry/university/government relations; and chemicals/energy/environment/materials.
Special interactive sessions, round-table discussions and networking opportunities were led by global business leaders representing leading organisations and companies from around the world.
