The Licensing Executives Society Russia (LES Russia) held a round-table discussion entitled “Using and Protecting Intellectual Property When Exporting Products.” The speakers included Sergey V. Medvedev, Ph.D. in Law, LL.M., LES Russia member and Partner at Gorodissky & Partners; V.V. Lyzhin, Russian Patent Attorney at Gorodissky & Partners; and representatives of the Russian Franchise Association.
The round-table discussion focused on legal frameworks, IP registration, potential infringements of intellectual property rights and practical examples of businesses entering foreign markets.
